Holi or the Festival of Colours will be celebrated on March 13, 2017. Holi is celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety on the full moon day in the month of Phalgun which is the month of March as per the Gregorian calendar.

In Goa, the Festival is celebrated with great excitement as shops and offices remain closed for the day and people get all the time to get crazy and whacky.

Bright colours like red and yellow and pink fill the air and people take turns in pouring coloured water over each other. Children take special delight in spraying colours on one another with their ‘pichkaris’ (water cannons) and throwing water balloons and passers-by.

Songs, dance on the rhythm of dholak and mouthwatering Holi delicacies are the other highlights of the day.

Don’t miss out on the excitement of Holi. Join us at Coconut Creek Resort as we celebrate the Festival of Colours, in our own unique way.
